Notice of 2019 TCCAV Annual General Meeting

The TCCAV Annual General Meeting for 2019 will be held on Tuesday July 9th, 2019. This is your opportunity to vote for and nominate the committee to take the club forward for the next financial year. Come along and have your say on how the club is shaped – either by wielding your power to vote or by nominating for a position yourself. As with every single TCCAV meeting and event, all new faces are very welcome!

All committee positions are available for nomination. For details on the committee roles and responsibilities, please click here. You must be a current financial member of the club to vote. You may elect to have another member vote on your behalf by using the proxy form here – print it, fill it out and give it to your proxy to present on the night.

The voting portion of the evening will commence after the regular monthly meeting (arrive for dinner from 7pm), with an expected start time for voting of around 9.30pm. Refreshment will be provided by the club. See you there!

The club’s committee members will be available to answer your questions and assist with membership and club plate applications.

We meet at Bells Hotel, either upstairs or in the topiary room, where the bar will be open for drinks and meal orders in the lead up to the meeting. Keep an eye on the event discussion to find out where we will be.

New TCCAV Logo!

The Toyota Car Club of Australia Victoria has a history spanning back nearly 43 years. The club as we know it came to be in 1992 with the merger of the Celica Car Club of Victoria and the Toyota Owners Club of Victoria, and since that date the club has continued to evolve and grow to become the amazing community of over 500 members it is today.

On Tuesday July 10, 2018, TCCAV members voted in favour of updating the club logo. The new logo is designed to both pay homage to the club’s roots but also to help take the club forward into the digital age. Through an enhanced online presence, we hope to be able to better engage with the community and continue to grow the club into the future – this logo is the first step in that direction.

We’d also like to take the opportunity to give a massive thank-you to Ash Miniken and Naish Chapman for their time and commitment in organising, designing and implementing the new logo. Thanks guys – it looks great!
