Driving Events
Enjoy the Victorian landscape with like-minded enthusiasts. Our driving tours and social gatherings are the best way to enjoy your car on the open road.
Drive & Dine
These events perfectly pair outstanding driving with fine food. Participants navigate scenic and dynamic routes, with the day culminating in a group meal at a pre-arranged location. It’s the ideal way to enjoy parking lot camaraderie and share a memorable, satisfying close to the drive.
-
Past events have seen fantastic group meals at popular venues such as the Healesville Hotel, Coldstream Brewery, Pink Hill Hotel, and Grand Ridge Brewery.
Drive and Discover
Designed for the curious enthusiast, these tours prioritise education and cultural engagement. The routes lead directly to relevant points of interest, such as specialised car museums, private collections, or workshops. This allows attendees to learn more about automotive history and culture through unique visits and expert talks.
- Past educational tours have taken members to explore unique points of interest, such as Charlie's Auto Museum, the Vietnam Veterans Museum, and various private collections.
Driving Tour
Driving Tours are the club's ultimate adventure, inviting members and their guests to join multi-day tours through the countryside or to interstate events. Beginning with a few small groups heading up to Toymods Classic Celica Day each year via the Alpine roads the idea quickly grew and expanded in 2022 with the extremely successful Classic Japan Alpine Cruise for our interstate guests from Sydney who were attending Classic Japan that year. When we returned we quickly realised that club members were keen on joining in on the next one, so we backed that event up with a club member cruise to All Japan Day in Adelaide in March 2023 via the Great Ocean Road, Otways and the very picturesque Limestone Coast.
We plan to host 2–3 major multi-day Driving Tours each year. Members can expect comprehensive planning for every adventure, including:
-
A detailed itinerary with suggested accommodation.
-
Map links for the route and all key stops along the way. (using the Tourboss Application)
-
Plenty of scheduled rest and fuel stops to cater to all members and vehicle types.
-
All routes will be conducted exclusively on sealed roads. (unplanned detours could still take place)
-
Each tour will include at least one group meal to socialise and strengthen club bonds.
