Sakura Picnic 2024
In 2023, Sakura Picnic is expanded, opening the gates for owners of vehicles from all Asian manufacturers to display their pride and joy, make new friends, and enjoy a relaxed day under the trees at Bundoora Park.
We started Sakura Picnic in 2016 to unite Melbourne's Japanese car clubs with a show that had no egos or awards - just the true Japanese ethos of showing appreciation for everyone's individual tastes. Since 2023, we felt it was right to expand this concept to the entire Asian region, welcoming passionate owners with vehicles from Hyundai, Kia & Proton to name just a few.
Be sure to mark the 5th of May 2024 in your calendars and purchase your ticket to display your car now!
Display vehicle entry is $25.00 per car or motorbike.
TCCAV members receive a 25% discount.
Spectator entry and spectator parking is FREE.

About The Show:
Sakura Picnic is about bringing Melbourne's Asian automotive clubs and vehicle enthusiasts together. We encourage your club to come along and put on a display, fly your flags, sell merchandise, and talk to individuals about how they can become involved. Your club sponsors are also welcome to join our vendor alley!
There will be no awards, no egos, just a relaxed day under the gums of Bundoora Park, with great cars and great people. Bring your best picnic rug along with your family, friends and fur-babies (on-leash) to enjoy the food trucks, coffee, ice cream and vendor alley.
Sakura Picnic is a family-friendly, alcohol & drug-free event and no anti-social behaviour will be tolerated.
Eligibility Criteria:
Vehicles from all Asian Manufacturers are eligible.
From a car or bike that's just been dragged from a barn to a fully restored classic, bone stock to highly modified, all are welcome.
Cars must be in a roadworthy state, unregistered vehicles must be trailered to the event. There is plenty of space to unload your vehicle and park your trailer within the park.
We can't wait to see you all there and show Australia and the world why Melbourne's automotive scene is second to none - don't forget to tag @SakuraPicnic in your posts on Facebook and Instagram!
