Holding membership with the Toyota Car Club of Australia Inc. (Victoria) offers access to a number of benefits.
We are well known for hosting some of Melbourne's Biggest and Best inclusive car shows. We don't have awards or trophies at our shows, instead focusing on the community, inclusiveness and appreciation of others' vehicles.
The Toyota Car Club of Australia Victoria is involved in Motorsport as a Motorsport Australia-affiliated club.
Members can participate in various club-level competitive events, including motorkhana, hillclimbs and speed events.
We are an approved VicRoads Club Permit Scheme association allowing members a cost-effective way of keeping Classic Vehicles 25 years or older on the road.
Toyota Car Club of Australia Victoria enables members to pool information and pass on the lessons of their experiences to each other. We also have a comprehensive library of Toyota and Lexus repair manuals that can be borrowed by members to assist with vehicle restoration.
Firstly there is the social aspect of the club. If you want to get out of the shed, or get off the couch, and talk to some like-minded enthusiasts, our General Meetings and monthly Cars Coffee & Doughnuts event offer an opportunity to mix with a group of all ages. The club also hosts 3 major events each year. All Toyota Winterfest, Classic Japan & Sakura Picnic, an all-Asian car & bike show. In addition, we also have members-only events such as 4WD trips, social drives and are even invited to events such as Toyota’s Ekiden day where we put on a car show and motorkhana display.
As a Motorsport Australia affiliated club, we can help you with your first steps in motorsport. Membership of the Club allows you to apply for a Motorsport Australia licence and take up some form of motorsport activity. As the club has a long history of competition in various disciplines such as motorkhana, hill climbs, track days & regularity racing there will undoubtedly be someone in the club who can help you with ideas and suggestions on how to get involved and progress your skills.
We also participate in the VicRoads Club Permit Scheme (Historic rego). Members of the club can put their classic car on club plates and save quite a bit of money on registration costs. More details can be found on the Club Permit page.
Other benefits include club partner discounts, member-only events, reduced entry fees to TCCAV events and a monthly newsletter. We also let our members know first about the dream “one owner” classics that we hear about on the grapevine as well. Many of our members have purchased their cars through contact with the club before they are publicly advertised.
